Directions
Casa Abajo is located in a unique spot, and to ensure you can enjoy your holiday as quickly as possible, we want to share the most important route information with you. This information is important as a supplement to using your navigation system.
From Málaga Airport
The route from Málaga airport to Cómpeta is via the Algarrobo exit towards the village of Sayalonga. In Sayalonga, your navigation system will indicate that you should turn right at the local bar Agora (on the left). Please note that you should not turn right here, but continue straight ahead.
At the roundabout in Cómpeta, take a sharp right turn. On the corner, you will see a sign pointing towards Torrox. Follow this road until you see the bar “Venta de Palma.” Turn right there and continue along the road. On the verges of this rural road, you will see signs and stones with the names of holiday homes on them. Follow the sign for Casa Abajo, and before you know it, you will be sitting on your terrace with a refreshing drink.
From Nerja
From Nerja, follow the road toward Cómpeta until you see bar Venta de Palma on your left-hand side. On the opposite corner, you’ll see the local hardware store Portichuello. Turn left onto that street and follow the road.
Along the way, you’ll spot signs and stones by the roadside displaying vacation home names. Follow the sign for Casa Abajo, and soon you'll be enjoying the peace and beauty of your private terrace!
Point of attention
Driving in the mountains of southern Spain is a true experience and takes you to the most special spots. The roads to Casa Abajo are all paved or surfaced and lead you through the beautiful hills of Andalusia. They offer the most stunning views, but for those who are not used to it, they may also present some challenges. When renting a car, keep in mind that you will be driving in hilly terrain.
