About us

Hola! We are Mary & Jan Bos from the Netherlands. After completing several large and exclusive construction projects in the Netherlands, Jan as a structural engineer and Mary as a project secretary, we moved to France in 2017. There we rented out four gîtes for several years on a, by us, restored manor farmhouse in the Dordogne. In 2021 it was time for a new adventure and we headed further south in search of a life under the Spanish sun.

We were drawn to the Málaga region because of its fantastic climate, warm summers and mild winters. Málaga also has a rich cultural history, beautiful architecture, Mediterranean beaches, and wonderful local cuisine. We fell in love with the charming village of Cómpeta. A true 'pueblo blanco' nestled in the rolling green hills of Andalusia—with, of course, sea views!
